A Prime Opportunity For Saving Money
The NZ Government has identified Compressed Air as one of the primary opportunities for industry to reduce their energy consumption. A full audit often identifies over 30% power savings with a conventional compressed air system, simply by applying best practice principles.
A comprehensive Air Audit will tell you how and how much saving you can achieve. And how much those savings will cost.
What is an Air Audit?
During an Air audit we start with how the compressed air is being used and look for potential savings. We evaluate how the compressed air is being reticulated, then look at the efficiency of your compressors and compressor station.
Some of the questions we answer include:
- How is the compressed air being used
- What is the cost of ownership of my compressor station?
- How much power can I save?
- Can improvements be made in maintenance?
- What pressure do I really need?
- How much compressed air am I wasting in the form of leaks and which leaks are the most cost effective to fix?
- Is there wasted energy that can be reused?
- Am I compliant?
EMANZ Accredited Auditor
Robert Norriss, from PSL Wholesale Ltd, is the first fully accredited compressed air auditor in the country. As such, he is qualified to provide you with authentic and accurate information on actual savings.
Government Funding
If your compressor station uses 75Kw of energy or greater, then you may be eligible for a fully funded ‘Walk Through’ and ‘Full Audit’ on your compressed air system.
If you come under the 75Kw threshold, you may be surprised at how little a full audit costs.
